THE ROLE
As a Land & Property Manager, you'll be a key player in our mission to protect and enhance the natural environment. Working as part of a UK wide team, you’ll manage all land and property acquisition, disposal, legal, tenancy and agricultural aspects of Woodland Trust sites in support of the regional estate team, engaging with external parties, leading on internal approval processes, assisting with rural grant applications and identifying natural capital opportunities.
THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Surveyor (ideally rural practice) with a deep understanding of rural land use policies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing rural properties and leading multidisciplinary projects. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as you'll be representing the Woodland Trust both internally and externally.
You will have a full driving licence and be able to undertake travel across a wide area, sometimes to remote locations. Overnight stays may be required which may be at least once per month. You will be expected to be located within the area of work covered by the role.
