European Valuation Standards (EVS)
As well as supporting professional ethics and standards for qualification, TEGoVA issues EVS (the Blue Book). It is prepared by the European Valuation Standards Board (EVSB) of which Jeremy Moody, CAAV Secretary and Adviser, is a member.
The Seventh Edition (2012) gives standards defining market value and other bases of valuation, a qualified valuer, valuations and reporting together with a range of applications, a review of the impact of EU law on property valuation and a variety of technical papers. In addition to EVS, the EVSB prepares other technical papers and developments. Current work includes valuation certainty.
