Council sits at the centre of the CAAV's constitution. It has members representing each of the 29 Local Associations who join the Presidential Team, a limited number of co-options (usually those Committee Chairmen who are not already on Council) and up to six past Presidents. It meets quarterly, chaired by the President, and the CAAV's Committees all report to each meeting. Council also approves all applications for Fellowship and all numbered CAAV publications.
